From Dubrovnik: 14 days

1° Day

DubrovnikFrom Dubrovnik to Podskolj, on the island of Mljet, a small port surrounded with clear waters. We recommend that you check if the anchor is holding good. It providdes a good shelter from Mistral, but it is exposed to Bora. On the southern side, you will find some taverns equipped with buoys.

2° Day

Sailing towards Zuljana or Trstenik, on the soutehrn side of Peljesac peninsula. We recommend that you anchor at Trstenik, if there is Bora. Zuljana, on the other hand, is an ideal shelter from the Scirocco. Both villages are quiet and calm, with beautiful beaches and rustic tavernas.

3° Day

Route to Korcula. We recommend that you arrive in the early afternoon to find an available berth. If moored outside of ACI marina, pay attention to ferries. You can also anchor in the western port. The best time to arrive would be in the morning. East of the city, you will find the islet of Vrnik, with a small boat pier, where you can spend a quiet night lulled by the waves.

4° Day

Sailing towards Racisce, a port west from the town of Korcula. The anchorage here is exposed to Tramontana and Mistral. The more protected part is the area behind the port, quiet and not frequently visited even in August.

korcula

5° Day

We recommend a short route around Proizd, an islet on the westernmost edge of Korcula island. You will find the anchorage in Gradina, a nice and quiet bay. For those searching for fun and nightlife we recommend a berth in the port of Vela Luka, located in a wide and deep inlet.

6° Day

vis
Sailing towards beautiful island of Vis. You need to reach the bay of Viska Luka first, then moor at Vis, which is a combination of two small settlements: Luka and Kut. Luka on the west sided has a quay equipped with mooring buoys, water and electricity. The port is often exposed to Bora. Kut, on the east side ot town, has a quay with no facilities. Sometimes Mistral can create difficulties. To avoide crowds, you can choose one of the inlets of Rogacic. It is not allowed to moor in the easternmost inlet, for the presence of the underwater power cable.

7° Day

Sailing along the north coast of the island of Vis, you can take a short break and anchor at Gradac or Okljucina (if there is no Bora). Then, you will reach Komiza, a good shelter to spend the night. Winds from the west, if strong, can create difficulties. The best place to anchor is on the north side of the pier.

8° Day

DubrovnikA visit to the blue cave of the island of Bisevo. It is better to go there in the morning, when the sun rays create fascinating blue reflections. You can take a short break for swimming in the bay of Stiniva. In the evening, you can anchor at Mala Travna or Vela Travna, or choose another solution; Ruda (it is recommended that you choose the western side and to anchor near the beach) or island of Budikovac (you need to reach the eastern side of the island passing through the channel from the south).

9° Day

Sailing along the southern coast of Korcula island, where you will find several options for anchorage: Tri Luke (Three ports), a bay with clear blue waters; Brna, a charming and bustling port; then Kosirina, a narrow bay where you should tie up the boat to the shore (east of Brna you will find a few bays, not frequently visited, that provide a good shelter).

10° - 11° Day

Route to Lastovo, an island with various bays and small natural ports that provide a good shelter for boats. Inside the bay of Skrivena Luka (with Struga lighthouse on a rocky promontory) you will find places protected from all winds. The best anchorage is on the north side of the island. The small island of Mrcara provides an excellent anchorage on the south east. There is a number of small islets, east of Lastovo island, where you can find beautiful anchorages. (Cesvinica, Saplun…)

lastovo

12° Day

Sailing towards Mljet, one of the most beautiful islands of Dalmatia. We recommend a short break at Saplunara, a bay on the mostwestern edge of the island, with a sandy beach ideal for refreshement. The best anchorage is on the north west, where you can find many buoys. East of Saplunara, there is a small inlet reachable only with a tender. There you will find a nice sandy beach washed by warm turquoise waters.

13° Day

vis
Route to the Elafiti islands, with many boat docking options. If heading towards the island of Sipan, you can choose a deep inlet of Sipanska Luka. In case of bad weather (Mistral), it is recommended that you anchor in the port of Sudjuradj, on the southern side. The island of Lopud offers a small, but pleasant docking port.

14° Day

A long beach break at Sunj, on the island of Lopud, ideal for snorkeling. As an alternative, you can reach the island of Kolocep which offers two mooring possibilities: in the bay to the east which is exposed to Bora, or at a pier in the north west, in an inlet in front of Celo village. It provides a good shelter from Scirocco (south wind) and Bora, but it is often exposed to Mistral. We recommend that you return to Dubrovnik in late afternoon.
